CHUMBI TUESDAY It's a text based one this week! Not as good as a video I know I know We will be back with our video format asap. 🌼 Game Development • Farming prototype. Having now set up the game architecture, our developers can begin to sink their teeth into some of the fun game mechanics beginning with the farming prototype. They are implementing the player hotbar (inventory), and developing the mechanics/controls of tilling the ground with the hoe tool, planting seeds, watering the crops, and finally harvesting the berries. (Insert satisfying berry pickup sound here ) Game Art • Primordial Highlands region reveal. Scroll up a bit to see some of the great work coming from our art team for this beautiful new biome. Here you will be able to breed your Chumbi at the Breeding Shrine located at the base of the Primordial Tree. The tree will grow pods that will hatch new Chumbi. In the game, you will be able to breed any 2 types of Chumbi together to create a new Chumbi NFT, but there are advantages to breeding compatible Chumbi types. • Next region WIP. We have already begun on the artwork for trees and environment assets for the next region... (Which is secretly my fave region of all ) • The art team are also working on some wooden bridge designs for crossing over creeks/rivers in-game Other • New Discord channel. This one is a goodie. 🔥 The Shrine of the Flame Primordial (Ragni) 🔥 The fifteen Primordial Aspects are the legendary primal ancestors of all Chumbi in the valley. Ragni 'Rag-Nee', keeper of the eternal flame and bringer of dawn, is said to be the guardian and watcher of fire and light. It is said that one day, when the valley grows too cold and dark, this noble Primordial will rise from her ashes in order to bathe the forest and plains of Chumbi in a brightly burning flame that will warm the innocent and burn the wicked. Until then, Ragni is said to rest deep below the surface of Amberglow, where boiling streams of magma heat the pools of water above the surface of the land.
